At the LEAP Summit on 12 May 2022 at 12:30 on the Ideas & Tech stage powered by EEN, we present the FINNO platform developed within the European Entrepreneurship Network (EEN). The platform will be presented by Nikola Balić, Head of Department for Science and Innovation from the University of Split. The Summit takes place in Zagreb, CineStar, Branimir Mingle Mall on May 12 & 13, 2022.
FINNO – Access2Finance and Innovation Platform – is a new regional platform that provides information on financial instruments and support for innovation available to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the Southeast Europe. The platform was developed within EEN at the initiative of seven EEN consortia from six countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia. It aims to further strengthen the growth and development of SMEs across the region by improving their access to finance and focusing on the innovation process from business ideas to commercial success in international markets.
Bearing in mind that there are different types of financial and innovation support provided to SMEs by different EU programs and institutions, FINNO offers information on all relevant and available funding and innovation opportunities that could suit a particular business. In addition to being informative, the platform brings together SMEs and financial institutions involved in specific EU programs, but also international innovation stakeholders who could help SMEs in the Southeast Europe to further develop their business and advisory services provided by international financial institutions involved in this program. On the platform, it is also possible to schedule a one-click online meeting with numerous EEN advisors from the region.
