The EIC Accelerator program is one of the most coveted European funding schemes for high-potential start-ups and SMEs with significant market potential and high risk, developing game changing solutions.  

 

The program provides financial support in two ways: a grant of up to €2.5 million for innovation activities (TRL 6 to 8) and equity of €0.5 up to €10 million for scaling up and other activities. In 2025, the total budget allocated is €634 million, distributed among open calls available to companies from any industry and challenge calls focusing on specific topics. The EIC Accelerator program is a part of the European Union’s Horizon Europe program, which supports research and technology development from initial ideas to commercialization and global growth.
